Project Manager

Your tasks:

  • Consultation with the customer and other project participants on detailed and implementation planning for infrastructure projects—especially underground cable projects
  • Management of a small project team to develop construction implementation plans
  • Coordination of technical consultations with cross-departmental and external project participants such as construction companies, third-party cable operators, and municipal authorities
  • Responsibility for the budget, schedule, and quality of all handover documents within the area of responsibility in the project
  • Carrying out planning and calculations for closed civil engineering methods, cable laying, and other construction site issues for large underground cable projects
  • Developing solutions for technical/structural problems before and during the construction of infrastructure projects and coordinating with project participants

Required qualifications:

  • Successfully completed degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g., master craftsman/technician in construction engineering)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the planning and implementation of construction site and civil engineering projects
  • Additional qualification as a civil engineering specialist and experience or further training in project management are an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of closed civil engineering techniques (e.g., HDD, pipe jacking, microtunneling)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or comparable tools
  • Very good written and spoken German, good English skills desirable
  • Strong communicator and team player with an independent and structured approach to work
  • Class B driver's license and willingness to travel for assignments in northern Germany and, in some cases, throughout Germany

Project Manager - Network Expansion
