Construction Manager

What are your responsibilities with us?

  • You plan, execute, and optimize software deployments in both cloud and on-premises environments (e.g., using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts).
  • You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, monitoring and alerting management of an existing microservice architecture across all stages and will further develop it in collaboration with the development department and IT.
  • You develop and maintain automation and deployment scripts (e.g., shell scripting, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • You will maintain and further develop CI/CD pipelines and the software supply chain (e.g., using Github).
  • You develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
  • You will work closely with development and operations to ensure smooth software releases and to identify and implement deployment strategies and system optimizations.
  • You enjoy a high degree of freedom in shaping your work style and actively contribute your expertise to a motivated team.

     

If you bring the following, you're in the right place with us.

  • You have completed training (HTL/FH/University) in the field of computer science/business informatics, engineering, information technology or a comparable qualification.
  • You have experience in system integration or IT operations.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • You have experience using CI/CD tools and automation solutions, for example with Github Actions or GitLab Pipelines.
  • You are proficient in using scripting languages ​​such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Ideally, you already have experience in the DevSecOps field (Security Automation, Supply Chain Security, Infrastructure Security, Secrets Management) and you are familiar with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning, Data Resiliency and Lifecycle Management.
  • You have very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills, both spoken and written (at least B2).
  • You are a team player and possess a strong analytical and process-oriented mindset, as well as a willingness to learn and sound judgment.
  • You are characterized by your ability to work in a team and your initiative.
  • You are motivated to actively help shape innovative solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.

Permitting and Approvals Consultant - Archaeology Focus

My tasks: Technical management of permitting and planning for underground cable projects – from application through to construction implementation, Commissioning, reviewing and supporting technical expert reports and approval documents, including environmental, soil protection and, where relevant, archaeological / heritage-related assessments, Coordination of all relevant application documents required for approval procedures, Preparation of tender documents and conducting the technical part of contract negotiations, Management of compensation and mitigation measures, including consideration of archaeological or heritage-related requirements where applicable, Process management of all permitting-related issues in the approval process – with constructive involvement of internal interfaces and external authorities, Leading the project team and service providers in your own specialist project, including schedule, cost and risk management, Sovereign communication with authorities, stakeholders and the interested public, Support throughout the construction phase until completion, including monitoring compliance with permit requirements and protecting relevant environmental and cultural heritage interests, Documentation of the entire process and ensuring structured knowledge management.
