RAN Solutions Manager – OpenRAN / Vodafone Germany

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RAN Solutions Manager to support a major OpenRAN programme with Vodafone Germany. This is a high-profile, customer-facing role suited to someone with strong RAN technical knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with major mobile operators in Germany or wider Europe.
The successful candidate will act as a key interface between the customer, internal technical teams and delivery partners, helping to ensure the successful design, delivery, optimisation and ongoing support of OpenRAN solutions across the German market.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical and customer-facing contact for RAN/OpenRAN activities.
- Support solution design, technical discussions, issue resolution and delivery planning.
- Work closely with engineering, deployment, operations and product teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered.
- Manage technical escalations, support troubleshooting and help drive resolution of network or solution-related issues.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the customer, internal teams and partner organisations.
- Represent the business professionally and help strengthen its reputation within the German mobile network market.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in RAN, OpenRAN, 4G/5G, network solutions or radio access engineering.
- Experience working with major mobile operators, vendors or systems integrators.
- Good understanding of RAN architecture, integration, deployment and operational support.
- Confident managing senior customer relationships and technical discussions.
- Experience in the German telecoms market would be highly advantageous.
- Fluent German and English language skills are required.
