You will oversee all activities related to preparing and running complex construction sites. This includes developing concepts for construction, installation, and assembly work; ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards; coordinating permitting processes and execution planning; and arranging external service support. You will also set up and guide a project structure that brings together multiple specialist teams.
A key part of the role is ensuring safe and compliant site operations. You will be responsible for making sure that data collection, early site preparation, construction works, installation/assembly tasks, and on-site logistics for various project locations are carried out on time and to the required quality level—from the first site activities through to final inspection and acceptance. This includes monitoring progress, performance, and measurement activities.
You will contribute to overall project planning by developing implementation strategies, identifying opportunities to accelerate work, analysing risks and defining mitigation measures, and participating in schedule and budget planning.
The role also involves refining detailed construction workflows, planning workforce and resource deployment, setting priorities based on project controls, and spotting potential delays early so they can be resolved before they impact progress. Preventing claims or disruptions is a key success factor.
