Position: Compliance and Regulatory Coordinator

Role Overview
  1. This role will act as the key point of coordination for regulatory, security, and compliance matters relating to the German authorities and MVNO operations. The successful candidate will ensure timely, accurate responses to regulatory queries, lead improvement initiatives driven by regulatory change, and manage security and data privacy incidents in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate regulatory queries and formal requests from German authorities, including BNetzA and BSI, in collaboration with group functions, ensuring responses are prepared and submitted within defined deadlines.
  2. Act as the primary interface between the business and German regulatory authorities, maintaining strong and professional stakeholder relationships.
  3. Manage security and data privacy incidents related to regulatory matters, working closely with group security and compliance teams.
  4. Own and maintain mandatory security concepts, ensuring regular updates in cooperation with external partners.
  5. Create, update, and maintain regulatory and security documentation in line with current requirements.
  6. Coordinate external partners to fulfil regulatory obligations (e.g. Lawful Interception) and monitor their ongoing performance.
  7. Drive continuous improvement of operational and regulatory processes (e.g. Mobile Number Portability), including alignment with authorities and coordination of deployment activities across the business.
  8. Lead and support improvement initiatives arising from new regulatory requirements or operational changes, working in cooperation with other MNOs to enhance overall customer experience.


Candidate Profile
  1. Previous experience in a similar compliance, regulatory, or security-related role within a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) or Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO).
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational actions.
  3. Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
  4. Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple regulatory topics simultaneously.
  5. Experience working with German regulatory authorities is highly advantageous.

  • Overall ownership of fibre deployment initiatives across all phases, from initial planning through to final delivery

  • Ongoing oversight of financials, timelines, and delivery checkpoints, with proactive identification of variances

  • Development of performance summaries, forward-looking projections, and mitigation measures where required

  • Assessment of technical feasibility and validation or adjustment of incoming work orders

  • Monitoring supplier performance, addressing shortfalls, and escalating issues in line with agreed frameworks

  • Accountability for construction-related supply flows, including equipment availability and material coordination

Client, Partner & Commercial Interface

  • Review and contribution to commercial agreements and delivery frameworks with clients

  • Primary coordination point for external project representatives on the client side

  • Active management of stakeholder relationships to ensure service quality and satisfaction across all parties

  • Enforcement of delivery commitments through structured governance forums, progress reviews, and performance reporting

  • Support to commercial teams in managing payment cycles and outstanding balances linked to delivery contracts

Compliance, Records & Approvals

  • Assurance that all project records are complete, traceable, and compliant with contractual and funding obligations

  • Coordination support for approval processes, including engagement with local authorities and public bodies

  • Contribution to financial close-out activities and project-level cost reconciliation

Operational Excellence & Process Development

  • Review and refinement of delivery frameworks and end-to-end operational workflows

  • Identification and implementation of improvements within project governance and PMO structures
